Absolutely loved the place. Location is close to restaurants, groceries, beachside walking track and spirit of Tasmania terminal is just 8 mins drive. Would love to come back again.

Fabulous place to stay. Ultra clean, safe, spacious unit and quiet. Beds very comfy and lovely bathroom. Value for money. The management were so friendly and accommodating. The housekeepers were excellent, helped us so much and took photos of us in our Cup dresses! Pool was fab. Can't fault this well run, clean and accommodating place. Highly recommend The Barclay and will stay again. Ros, Kath, Steve and Simone from Hobart.

A really nice place to stay that is quiet and in a wonderful location. The room was spacious and had everything I needed. Bed was very comfortable. Staff are very helpful and create a nice atmosphere. It has a heated pool too, not that I actually used it.

Stayed one night. Person on reception was friendly and welcoming. Room was moderate size with great bed/tv. Well equipped meal utensils/fridge/microwave. Table and two tub chairs made it a bit cramped on window side. Excellent bathroom that has been renovated and includes a large shower with double head shower. Grounds include a large grass area/pool/games court. Recommended.

Wow. Big big room, kitchen with stovetop microwave. We arrived after 8.00 pm because of the Ferry from Geelong, and the staff had arranged for our room to allow us to be checked in and made sure we could get the key. Beautiful room with fitout. Large bathroom. Really clean and fresh. This is a good location, quiet and not in the centre of the city, but close to all the facilities. We will definitely be staying here again.

A great location for driving visitors, 3 min. drive to Coles, Woolworths, K-mart, yet good morning jogging course near the beach! The room has a complete package of fridge, microwave, toaster, cups and plates, kettle, kitchenette, small dining table/writing desk, great waterfall shower with high water pressure. Good laundry $4 each per washer/dryer. Very handy motel setup, parking right in front of your room. 5 nights of happy experience.
